Previously on the random map, ever since it was introduced, you could find cliff edges with minerals along them just hanging there. Walk out -and you have enough to last basically forever. (When most other things in this game are geared to be hard) You can literally just walk into a cave - see a huge chunk of potassium just dangling in the air - hit just one of them with a pick-axe and 100's of them fall to the ground. I can't imagine it's by design to be so easy. I like them too, but I think they are bugged at the moment. They can also freak you out a bit as you walk OVER caves, hearing zombies growling and bashing on stuff but you see nothing. ![]() So finding a cave I can wander into and then do some mining fast to get out. Simply put I've hated mining in the game for a very long time - since it drew zombies by the mass. I am sooo surprised Oh yes! I did not see that comming - YEAH RIGHT Oh wow surprise a layer of gravel above the resource! Oh look theres a hole I bet we go down there and kill 5 zombies then mine. Caves are crap really the old system was so much more fun. Originally posted by Draknah:In the stupid caves. ![]()
